Cloudbuster Facts

• Weather balloons are available in the following standard colors: red, white, blue, yellow, orange, and silver.

• Weather balloons normally fly approximately 2.5 to 3 days under good weather conditions.

• The biggest threat to cloudbusters are extreme heat, thunderstorms, and high winds.

• Weather balloons are made of a chloroprene latex which is stronger than normal, smaller, latex balloons; however, they can still pop easily and must be handled with care.

• Be sure to install weather balloons so they will not blow into trees, or other sharp objects, or where they can become entangled in power lines.
